ePAYROLL

LiteBlue ePayroll is the USPS online pay-statement tool available through the LiteBlue portal. It allows eligible USPS employees to view earnings statements, deductions, and recent pay history securely without paper stubs.

On this page, you’ll learn what ePayroll is, how to access it, what you can view inside your statement, and how to fix common access issues.

What Is LiteBlue ePayroll?

ePayroll is a pay-statement feature that lets USPS employees view their earnings statement online and keep pay records in one place.

You can typically:

  • View your current pay statement (earnings, taxes, deductions, net pay)
  • Review available past statements (limited history inside the portal)
  • Download, save, or print a copy for records or verification
  • Use it alongside other LiteBlue tools (such as MyHR and PostalEASE)

In short, ePayroll helps you check USPS pay statements online in a secure, paperless way.

Who Can Use ePayroll?

This tool is intended for USPS employees who can sign in to LiteBlue USPS.

  • You usually need an active employee profile and an SSP password
  • Access may depend on your status and account setup
  • If you don’t see ePayroll, try opening it through MyHR → Employee Apps

What You Need Before You Sign In

Keep the following ready:

  • Employee ID (EIN)
  • Self-Service Password (SSP)
  • Phone/email access (if a verification code is required)
  • A reliable browser (desktop/laptop often works best)

How to Access ePayroll in LiteBlue

  1. Sign in to LiteBlue using your EIN and SSP
  2. Complete any verification prompts (if shown)
  3. Open MyHR
  4. Go to Employee Apps and select ePayroll
  5. Choose a pay period to view your earnings statement
  6. Use Print (or Save as PDF) to keep a copy

If you can’t sign in, use Forgot Password to reset your SSP and try again.

What You Can See in Your Pay Statement

Inside ePayroll, you can typically find:

  • Pay summary: gross pay, net pay, overtime, year-to-date totals
  • Deductions & taxes: taxes, insurance, retirement, other withholdings
  • Hours paid: regular hours, overtime, paid leave hours
  • Leave details: leave items and (in many cases) leave balances
  • Adjustments: corrections from prior pay periods
  • Save/print options: print or save the statement as a PDF

Note: ePayroll is mostly view-only. Changes to direct deposit, allotments, or tax withholding are usually handled through PostalEASE (or another LiteBlue self-service tool).

When Are Pay Stubs Posted?

Many employees see statements posted shortly before payday, but timing can vary.

If your statement is missing:

  • Check the official pay schedule for your pay date
  • Maintenance/outages can delay posting
  • Confirm your deposit, then follow up with your supervisor or HR if it still doesn’t appear

How to Read Your ePayroll Pay Stub

Most statements include:

  • Gross vs. net pay: earnings before and after deductions
  • Hours paid: regular, overtime, and paid leave hours
  • Leave/retirement items: balances or contributions (where listed)
  • Deductions/taxes: withholdings and premiums
  • Adjustments: prior-period corrections

If something looks incorrect, compare it with your last statement and confirm hours/leave with your timekeeping records.

FAQs

Why can’t I see my latest pay stub yet?

It may still be processing or the system may be under maintenance. Try again later, switch browsers, and access it through MyHR → Employee Apps. If it’s still missing after your pay date, contact your local HR/HRSSC.

Where do my leave hours show up?

Leave time is usually listed in the hours/earnings area, and many statements also show leave balances. Placement can vary by statement format.

How do I update tax withholdings?

ePayroll is generally view-only. Withholding changes are typically done through PostalEASE (or another LiteBlue self-service option), not inside ePayroll.

What if I forget my SSP password?

Use Forgot Password to reset SSP, then sign in again. If you can’t verify or you’re locked out, contact HR support or the USPS help desk.
